Oils & Herbal Compresses
Feeling stressed and anxious?
Book a massage with your favourite blend of essential oils or herbal compress to lift your mood and stay relaxed!
All Daizen all massages begin with a complimentary foot ‘detox’ ritual. This is designed to ensure you feel completely relaxed and at ease; and will enable you to fully enjoy your chosen therapy.
You also get to choose your own special oils - pre-blended just for you. Select your favourite from the Daizen Aromatherapy range.
Use of essential oil advice
Never take essential oils internally, i.e. do not swallow them.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes (i.e. nose, mouth).
Seek professional/medical advice before use if you are pregnant.
Do not use Rose in the first four months of pregnancy.
Seek advice from a qualified aromatherapist before using any essential oils on babies and small children.
Seek medical advice before use if you have a medical condition (such as epilepsy, high blood pressure, allergies, etc.).
If you have an adverse reaction to an essential oil, stop using immediately and seek professional/medical advice.
Do not use essential oils undiluted (i.e. without adding water/base oil) on the skin (or undiluted in the bath).
Daizen Aromatherapy Oils
Select the essential oil to go with your massage, if you so wish, when booking a massage with Daizen.
These pre-blended oils are used during your massage and advice on how to continue using them is given after every session.
Daizen Herbal Body Compress
Choose your favourite Herbal Body Compress to go with your massage, when booking a Thai Hot Herbal Compress Massage with Daizen. Not only will you benefit from the massage, but you will get to keep the compress to take home and re-use for a few days to enhance your treatment.
Use of Herbal Body Compress advice
Suffer from plant allergies? Just ask me what herbs are used when you book and we’ll tailor your treatment accordingly.
The compress is normally used on bare skin , wherever possible, as clothes affect the heat & block the properties of the herbs infusing into the skin. However, thin & loose cotton clothing can be worn if preferred. Wear darker colours, if possible, as the compress may leave a mark which will eventually wash out.
After the treatment, the compress should be refrigerated until re-use and use within 48 hours.
